COLOUR

I have always loved colour and appreciate the colour Mother Nature gives us; from bright flowers, sunrise, sunset, the ocean, the sky and the seasons. These are the places I draw my inspiration from and the colours that take me to my happy place. I believe every space should have that little pop of colour as it helps lifts our spirits.

The ‘Colour’ collection was created in order to help add that little splash of colour and help transform a space whilst at the same time creating a unique talking piece.

Each piece has been created using multiple layers of resin, mixing in mediums such as acrylics, pigment pastes & powders, micas, dyes and inks. Layers are used in order to add depth and textures to each piece. Pieces inspired by the ocean, the seasons and simple colour palettes that work well together.

Cradled wood panels are used (unless otherwise stated), resulting in a heavier piece than canvas, due it’s sturdiness and durability. The wood panel is first primed before the resin is applied and manipulated creating the different effects seen.

Artwork can be made to any size and colour requirements. Due to the fluid nature of resin, it is not possible to produce an exact replica of a piece, however, something similar can be achieved, thus guaranteeing the uniqueness of each piece.
